DISPLAY: The screen size of the Note 4 is 5.7 inches compared to the S5 that is 5.1 inches. The difference in screen size is very visible. The Note 4 screen resolution is 1440 x 2560 pixels, while that of the S5 is 1080 x 1920 pixels.

What to Choose: Galaxy S5 or Galaxy Alpha?

SIZE: When it comes to size, The Samsung Galaxy Alpha weighs about 114g and measures 132.4mm x 65.5mm x 6.7mm. While the Samsung Galaxy S5 weighs 145g and measures 142mm x 72.5mm x 8.1mm. The Alpha looks special because it is among one of the smallest, slimmest and lightest phones we have used.  The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has many colors eg. Scuba blue, sleek silver, Charcoal lack, Frosted Gold and a silver color unlike the Samsung Galaxy S5.

SCREEN: Among the two phones, the one that comes out top with a bigger and sharper screen display would be the Samsung Galaxy S5. The Galaxy Alpha comes with a 4.7 inch super display that brings out a 1280 x 720 resolution with a pixel density of 312ppi while the Galaxy S5 displays a 5.1 inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and offers a pixel density of 431ppi. The Samsung S5 displays from a bigger screen, 5.1 inches.

CAMERA: When it comes to taking photos the Samsung S5 is a better device when compared to the Galaxy Alpha. Though while using it for taking shots or video calling, you may not notice the difference because the difference is not that much. CPU: They are both built with an Octa core processor and both have 2GB RAM in them.

BATTERY: When it comes to picking the device that has a long lasting battery, I will say it’s the Galaxy S5 because it comes with a 2800mAh battery while the Alpha has a 1860mAh battery.

The difference between Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One (M8)

Camera: The Galaxy S5 has a 16mp camera with a capture speed of 0.3 secs. You can also shoot Ultra HD video with it, while the Htc One M8 comes with a 5mp camera setting so if you ask me, which is better? The answer is obvious.

OS: They both come with Android 4.4 KitKat

Let's talk about the battery power: The Galaxy S5 comes with a 2800mah battery that can last for more than a day. It also comes with a power saving function. Whereas the HTC One has a 2600 mAh battery and it is more durable than the older HTC One. HTC One (M8) also has a power saving function. The two gadgets are higher than their similar older generation.

Storage: When it comes to storage, if you ask me, I will say there is no major difference, but lets detail it out. The Galaxy S5 comes with 16GB and 32GB on-board storage variants, with micro SD support for cards up to 128GB, and also 50GB of free cloud storage for two years through dropdox. While the HTC One comes with its own 16GB storage, micro SD space that can take up to 128GB, and 65GB of free Google Drive space. As you can see, there is not much difference between the two gadgets when you compare their storage capabilities.


Display: If you ask me, which of the two devices, which has a bigger and better screen display, I will say that the difference is not much but lets take a look at their features.

The Galaxy S5 comes with a 5.1 inch screen display with 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution and 430ppi. While the HTC One also has a 5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution with a pixel density of 441ppi. If you look at it carefully, you will see that the S5 is a little bit bigger than the M8 in screen size while htc is higher in pixel density.

Why Samsung Galaxy S5 is a bad choice

Usually we buy a smartphone if it's joined by a large advertising budget, if the gadget is satisfying the most of our needs, if we like it, and if... we have enough money to buy it! The same rules applies for Samsung Galaxy S5!

Galaxy S5 is a bad choice:

- if you're an iPhone fan (many of they are unsatisfied by the huge delay of most android apps and the non-intuitive applications);
- if you bought the smartphone from Amazon and after a while it needs to go in service to be repaired: you'll find quickly that Amazon's customer service is terrible;
- if you bought it from Sprint but they will not help to fix your smartphone problems if you didn't pay for an insurance (~ $11 per month);
- even many S5 owners are satisfied by it as an android device, many of them say that "as a phone it sucks" (sometimes the reception is terrible, or the phone is freezing);
- many S5 devices have problems related to: 4G connection, WiFi, GPS, SIM card;
